Sightseeing with Todd and Alex

This weekend Todd and Alex came to visit us for the weekend. The real reason behind their visit will be revealed in tomorrow's post. Anyway, it poured down rain Saturday afternoon but around 5:00 the sun came out and we took a stroll over to the FDR Memorial. We got spectacular views of Washington Monument and Jefferson Memorial with reflections off the tidal basin. We then proceeded to have an enormous meal at a japanese hibachi restaurant - it had been a long time since any of us had been to a fun hibatchi place but it was fun and delicious!
